FPA or Fashion Production Association is a club at The Ohio State University that host annual fashion shows, presenting student's final showcases.

The theme for the spring 2025 show was "Stories" and each designer crafts their interpretation. My collection was inspired by the movie and story of Wicked.

Scarlette Magazine's Spring/ Summer 2025 issue was titled "In Bloom". The theme for this issue played around with the idea rebirth or growth. The article "Growing Pains" follows this theme, emphasizing the hardships or struggled that come with growing.

For the photoshoot, the directors wanted to create a background that resembled a childhood arts room because crafts signifies creativity, trial and error, and in general reminds many of their child hood. Therefore, as a way to represent growth and unexpected change, my duct tape dresses were displayed as props for this shoot.

Scarlette Magazine's Spring/ Summer 2025 issue was titled "In Bloom". The theme for this issue played around with the idea rebirth or growth. The article "Snowdrop: Remaining light in a season of darkness" is inspired by a special flower called a snowdrop that can bloom and survive in snow while all other flowers are dead. Thus the article talks about finding happiness even during depressing times.

Similar to New York Fashion Week, Columbus Fashion Week is an annual week long event that host 7+ fashion shows a year, showcasing professional fashion designer newest collections from Ohio or across the country.

As a designer for Fall 24, Scarlette Magazines interviewed me about my design for their article covering the shows.

Scarlette Magazine's Fall/ Winter 24 "Sustainability" issue highlighted specific weak points in the fashion industry that are negatively impacting society or the environment. The article "Integrating the blue economy into fashion for a greener, or bluer, future" covers all the plastic, chemical, or fabric pollutants from fashion that end up trashing the ocean.

As a designer who works with unconventional materials, Scarlette Magazines commissioned me to create 5 garments utilizing plastic bags and fishnets to represent these pollutants as well as illustrate through recycling these materials back into clothing that we are not too late and can find solutions to clean up the ocean.

In spring of 2024, Scarlette Magazines teamed up with The Paper Bag Chronicles, a non profit that encourages self confidence in women. Together, they invited 3 designers to create looks for a photoshoot and an article.

As one of the 3 designers, I was asked to create a dress out of paper bags. The dress was then photographed and the models were interviewed. They were asked "Can you rock a paper bag?". This question is essentially asking "Can you find beauty in even the blandest objects?". This article is meant to inspire women and instill self confidence given the idea that women can look beautiful no matter what they are wearing.

Servitecture is a student run club under The Ohio State University's Knowlton School of Architecture.

Each year, the club hosts a charity fashion show and competition.

Spring of 2024, the theme was alter ego. This theme encouraged designers to step out of their comfort zone and imagine alter ego as a redefinition or another perspective of something. As a designer, I interpreted the theme by creating garments out of recycled, unconventional materials.
